How To Make Hemp Tea
How to prepare Hemp Leaves
Total Time: 7 minutes
The first step to making any great tea is a hot water source. I like to boil water, but simply heating it up in the microwave will work too! Whatever is most convenient for you.
Add the leaves
Add the dry hemp leaves or hemp powder to your cup or tea infuser. Personally, I like to preheat the cup before adding hemp leaves, but it is optional. Ideally, you need 1 teaspoon of dry hemp leaves or powdered per cup of water.
Steep in hot water
Once the tea leaves are addes, let the leaves steep in hot water you prepared in step 1. Typically, 5 to7 minutes of steeping will do the trick. You can cover the cup to speed up the process too!
Add any favorites
If you like tea without any additives, then you are all set. But, you can add in some extras to boost flavor. Common add-ons are vanilla, lemon, cinnamon and anise. You can also sweeten a cup with honey or sugar!
